Mohammed Akeel Latif
Akeel is a Partner and Head of our Corporate Commercial department.
Akeel specialises in corporate and commercial work, including advising on mergers, acquisitions, sales, equity investment, business or group restructuring, placing of shares (whether public or private) and AIM and PLUS flotations. He also has specialist expertise in corporate recovery and insolvency work. Akeel acts for both public and private companies, partnerships and other unincorporated bodies.
Akeel has a first class honours degree from Manchester University and gained a distinction (first class pass) on the Legal Practice Course. After completing his studies, he worked in the corporate departments of Rowlands and Eversheds before joining Myerson in 2001.
Akeel also provides pro bono assistance to Ansar Finance Group.
